Messick Preservation Foundation

The Messick Masonic Temple, built in 1925 with a generous donation from John Messick, is home to Shelby Lodge #28, Messick Masonic Temple Board, Messick Preservation, Eastern Star NAMAAH #73, and Shelby County Shrine Club. A group of Masonic brothers and sisters working together for the future of our temple.

Mission

To Restore and Preserve the Messick Masonic Temple in Shelbyville, Indiana, to it's original condition for future generations of not only members, but citizens to celebrate and enjoy.

Vision for the future

The vision of The Messick Preservation Foundation is to work with local, state, and federal organizations to find financial resources to Restore and Preserve our beautiful, historical building. A landmark for Shelbyville and Shelby County.
