EAST FACADE RESTORATION
Phase 1 of the MPF restoration is well on its way and should be completed before cold weather. The complete repair, cleaning, and preserving of the East facade will make it look new again!
Project 2. Card Room Furnace

The second furnace to be installed this fall will be in the area known as the card room. This room is located on the first floor, South-West corner. This unit will allow the South half of the first floor to be heated and provide air conditioning. It will cover the card room, Shelby County Shrine room, and feed into the hallway over the old cigar counter.

Project 3. Coat Room Furnace

The third and final furnace to be installed in phase one will be in the coat room. The coat room is located on the first floor, at the North-West corner of the building. This unit will heat and cool the coat room, ladies waiting room, ladies restroom, men's restroom, and the pool table room.

Restoration to begin September 2021!!

The Messick Preservation Foundation, after many years of organizing and completing all the legal hurdles, is set to begin phase 1 of Restoration 2025 Project! Kenna Restoration will begin on the East facade, the main entrance, with a complete cleaning and restoration of all surfaces, railings, doors, steps, and the entire roof cap of the building. This is just the beginning as we work our way around the building with 3 phases total to completely restore the exterior of the Messick Masonic Temple in anticipation of our 100 year anniversary in 2025!
